Org 230 Harry C. Withers Elementary School

1. New finishes at the interior of the school

2. Expansion of cafeteria.

3. Reconfiguration of the administrative suite and four classrooms

4. Replacement of existing windows

5. Re-roofing

6. Demolition of existing kitchen addition.

7. Demolition / removal of existing T-Buildings

8. New kitchen addition

9. New security vestibule addition

10. New classroom addition and Tornado Shelter.

11. New driveway, drop off, and canopies along the east side of the site.

12. Re-striping of the existing driveways & parking lot on the west side of the site.

13. New sidewalks & fences.

PRE-BID & LOCATION:

A pre-proposal meeting will be held via Zoom at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 13, 2023 for all interested parties. This meeting is not mandatory, but information discussed will be extremely helpful in preparation of the proposal.

All general contractors and sub-contractors are encouraged to attend this meeting. Contractors will meet A/E(s) and PM at the school to start the site tour.

BID-DATE & LOCATION:

All Construction Services construction procurements must be physically delivered to the Construction Services office, at the Linus D. Wright Dallas ISD Administration Building 9400 North Central Expressway, Suite 800 Dallas, TX 75231. (Call 972.925.7200 for directions). Delivery to other locations will result in rejection of a CSP.

Completed CSP Package Part 1-A, 1-B and 1-C are due on Tuesday, 12/12/2023 at 2:00 PM (local time).

Completed CSP Package Part 2 is due on Wednesday, 12/13/2023 at 3:00 PM (local time).

OWNER’S PROJECT MANAGER (PM):

Colton Countryman will be the Owner’s Project Manager (PM) for the management of planning, design, permitting, construction, and post-construction for this CSP. All correspondence and communication during the contract finalization, construction and post-construction processes shall be directed to the Architect/Engineer firm (A/E) with copy to Colton Countryman. During construction, the PM shall have authority to act on behalf of Dallas ISD for Owner related direction.
